Merry Christmas everyone! We hope everyone had a good day with family. Justin and I had a nice mellow Christmas this year with Leila. She had so much fun with all her new toys, wrapping paper and bows to play with. At first she wasn't too sure about ripping open the presents (probably since we've been telling her to stay away from the Christmas tree for the past two week!) Slowly she started getting the idea and tore open a few presents, but she was more interested in playing with the bows! I had planned on making cinnamon rolls for breakfast, our traditional Christmas morning breakfast is eggs benedict, but my morning sickness kept me from doing that. We ended up not having anything at all for breakfast because poor Justin on his first day off work in 2 weeks ends up getting the stomach flu. So we pretty much had a low key day. Lots of naps, playing with new toys and chicken noodle soup! I'm still going to make my eggs benedict...but probably in a few weeks when this nausea subsides!
