Today I have reached the 31 week mark. I can't believe it! It's gone so fast up til now...and then time stopped! Ha, well not really, but it's starting to get really uncomfortable. It's hot out, I don't sleep more than 3 or 4 hours a night, I've got a little tiny foot under my ribcage and I get contractions every time I do anything physical (housework, walk to the mailbox, easy things!) so I am pretty much taking it easy. Leila isn't ok with that. She like to play and wants me to play with her! I used to take her for walks around the block but that's just too hard for me now, so we have been playing with her water toys in the front yard instead. (See last post) So far that is keeping her entertained. I like sitting out in the shade with her. I had my appointment today with my OB. Everything with Emmalene is looking great. She's right on target still, which makes me very happy! I took my gestational diabetes test last week and got the results back today, negative. So I can continue to eat cheesecake for dinner! I can't believe I only have 9 weeks to go!! Amazing!
Miss Leila and sippy cup are friends now! It only took her two days to realize that the bottles aren't coming back. She finally gave in last night at bedtime and drank her Scandishake out of the sippy. This morning she had another one after her breakfast. I was dreading this, but I guess for nothing. I am glad she didn't decide to go on a milk strike because she NEEDS those calories from her shake!
This is our quick update for this post. Everything good! I just have to keep reminding myself 2 more months, 2 more months!
