Leila's 4th birthday

Leila's birthday was Friday (I still can't get over the fact that my baby is 4!!) We had her birthday party today (Sunday) so the whole family could come up and celebrate with us. It was unseasonalbly warm yesterday, almost 70 degrees! Today was forcasted to be as warm, but it was a little bit chillier and overcast. That was ok though, it didn't stop the kids from having a good time!! We rented a bouncy house for her party. We had to take advantage of the weather, its not too often that we'll be able to do an outdoor party in January!! We also got a bunch of hotdogs to grill and a big princess cake. As soon as the party got under way at 11 am Leila came up to me and told me that her tummy didn't feel good. I figured that it was because she was jumping on the bouncy house and hadn't had a great breakfast. Then she told me that she was going to throw up...I still figured it was motion sickness....but it continued. Then she passed out for a while all green-faced. She slept for about an hour while all her friends and cousins jumped and played. Finally she woke up and felt a little bit better, she really wanted to jump on that bouncy house!! Leila ended up having a good time, she jumped and played with her friends, opened all her presents and after everyone left we put candles on what was left of her cake and let her blow them out. We let her have a tiny bite of her cake and promised her that if she felt better tomorrow she could have a whole piece. Right now she is asleep with a little fever. Hopefully she'll feel better in the morning!!
