Yesterday was Emmalene's "Welcome to the world" party. It turned out awesome! We had a huge turnout. Justin's Mom, sister, brother and his girlfriend were in from California. A ton of my family from Houston came to celebrate, and our good friends from Austin made the 3 hour drive with two 5 month old babies just for Emmie! Emmalene was passed around, I hope everyone had a chance to love on her! Leila had a great time playing with the zillions of cousins that showed up, and Justin and I had fun visiting with everyone. We got enough giftcards from Target for me to buy my pump and then some! Emmalene also got a jumparoo from Great Uncle Greg and Great Aunt Pam and family, those are so much fun! She also got a couple of cute outfits and diapers to last for months! Leila got a few things too, can't leave the big baby out!! She got a little laptop of her own (so maybe she'll leave Mommy's alone!) and a baby doll that drinks a little bottle, giggles, sleeps and says Mama. She is all set up to be a little Mama now! Our family would like to thank everyone for showing up and celebrating little Emmie with us. We are so blessed to have so many wonderful people to share these times with!
