Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend I took the girls down to Houston while Justin was in California for his dad's retirement party. The girls and I stayed at my mom's house and did a lot of relaxing and visiting. On Saturday we took all of the kids to a fun pumpkin patch out in Katy. Aunt Cathy, Brandi, Christi and Damien drove up to join us. At the patch we met up with Melissa and Matt and the Taylor girls. Miss Leila had so much fun picking out pumpkins, looking at all the farm animals (there was a pig, goats, miniature horses and more), getting her face painted (didn't think she'd sit still for that!) and going on a hay ride!

After the pumpkin patch we took all the kids to this super awesome park over by my sister's new place and let the kids run wild and had a picnic. I was so shocked to see how brave Leila was on the playground. She was keeping up with the big kids for sure! She went down the really big and fast slide, at first I thought she'd be in tears when she got off but she jumped off and ran around to do it again. I think she went down the slide 100 times! I love that the girls are able to have these fun weekends with their cousins. Leila loves her Brookie! She keeps bringing me the phone and saying "Brookie?". Funny kid. Later this week we are going to carve our pumpkins! That should be a big fun mess to look forward to!
