Funny things our kids do

These kids make me laugh daily. Leila is such a funny kid. She is talking a lot! She is whining a lot too. We tell her when she is whining or screaming that we will not help her unless she uses her words. I say to her, "do you want me to help you?" She will say, "help you!" So now when Leila needs us to do something for her like put her baby doll's shirt on, or strap her in the stroller, or cut up her food she will yell, "help yooooooooooooooou!" Her other classic is when she is in trouble or hurt she will come up to one of us and say "hug you Mama" or "hug you Daddy". This one is my favorite and I have to try my hardest not to smile when she says it after getting in trouble. She'll also draw out the you. "hug yooooooooooooooooooooooou!" She has found her new love, ketchup. Or as she calls it "catch-cutch", and everything is catch-cutch--mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup--all catch-cutch.

Emmalene is pretty funny too. She makes lots of coos, ooohs and aaahs. She's gone from sucking her whole fist to just sucking her thumb. She chews her tongue like its a piece of gum. She loves the t.v., she'll do a 180* on the floor just to angle herself for a better view! I have to turn it off most of the day to get her to focus on toys and books and tummy time.

They're fun kids. They definitely keep me entertained daily!
